Welcome to Copperhead Travels. By booking travel services through us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Role as a Travel Advisor
Copperhead Travels acts as an independent travel advisor. We work with trusted third-party suppliers (e.g., airlines, resorts, cruise lines, tour companies) to create your travel arrangements. While we facilitate bookings, the actual services are provided by these third parties.
We are not responsible for any acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any such supplier or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages resulting from your interactions with them.
2. Quotes & Pricing
All prices are subject to change until your booking is confirmed and payment is received.
Quotes are not guaranteed until a deposit is made.
Pricing may vary based on availability, exchange rates, fuel surcharges, and supplier updates.
3. Payments
A deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Final payment deadlines vary by supplier and will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.
Failure to make final payment by the due date may result in cancellation without refund.
4. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
Cancellation policies are determined by the supplier and vary depending on the product booked.
Changes to a booking (e.g., name, date, destination) may incur additional fees from the supplier.
Refunds, if available, will be processed in accordance with the supplier’s policy. Some trips may be 100% non-refundable.
5. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment against unexpected disruptions such as illness, trip delays, or weather-related events.
You may purchase travel insurance through Copperhead Travels or another provider. Declining insurance is done at your own risk.
6. Passports, Visas & Travel Documents
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure all required travel documents are valid, including passports, visas, COVID-related documentation, and health forms.
Passports must be valid for at least 6 months past your return date.
Failure to comply with government requirements may result in denied boarding or entry, and no refund will be issued.
7. Health & Safety
You are responsible for understanding and complying with any health and vaccination requirements for your destination(s).
Copperhead Travels is not liable for any health-related disruptions, injuries, or illnesses that may occur before, during, or after travel.
8. Assumption of Risk
Travel involves inherent risks. By choosing to travel, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your trip, including but not limited to delays, cancellations, natural disasters, political unrest, and pandemics.
9. Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Copperhead Travels shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay caused in connection with the provision of travel services.
10. Client Responsibility
You agree to:
- Provide accurate traveler information and documentation.
- Abide by payment deadlines.
- Communicate any changes or concerns in a timely manner.
- Respect the rules and regulations of airlines, hotels, cruise lines, and other providers.
11. Privacy Policy
Your personal information will only be used for the purpose of planning and booking your travel. We do not sell or share your data with unauthorized third parties.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Acceptance
By submitting a travel request or making a booking through Copperhead Travels, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.
